About TEDxTruro

TedXTruro is a local offshoot of the globally recognised Tedx conference platform. TEDx Talks, known for their inspiring short speeches, cover a wide range of topics from science and technology to the arts and global issues. TEDx events bring the spirit of TED Talks to local communities, offering a platform for local innovators and thought leaders to share their ideas with the Truro community.

TEDxTruro events aim to spark conversation and inspire action around ideas that matter.  They provide a platform for local voices to be heard on a global stage.

TEDx talks are showcased on a variety of platforms, including:

• The TEDx YouTube channel: This channel features a wide range of TEDx talks from all over the world.
• The TED website: The TED website also features a selection of TEDx talks, as well as information about the TEDx program.
• Individual TEDx event websites: Each TEDx event has its own website, which typically features videos of the talks from that event.
